PAINMANas much as I f*** with HUT you can tell it was reworked a lot and doesn’t quite fit in all the way with the first two
Love all 3 albums too but the music does start to feel progressively less personal tbh, starts to feel too much like playing a character
HUT is easily his most personal album
Nowhere else in his discography does he have a song as personal as Red Terror

New trilogy has insane highs and I think HUT is an amazing project but it just didnt land as a trilogy for me. The concept actually drags both projects down a little (again, for me.)

OG is still unmatched. Best body of work from The Weeknd.
New trilogy is the answer if you are under 18 or have little music knowledge. I mean its great music but is very far from his top, from production to vocals, even at his best moments it still feels like a copy of the old momentum he had with the tapes.
Also HUT sucks ass lmao, never thought he will drop an album worst than BBTM
