"An era of social media antics that artists relied on for popularity. It's clear now that the general public moved on and grown out of caring about these attention whoring strategies that gimmick artists rely on.

Remember when all these young rappers were dissing the OGs in the soundcloud era? Pretty much none of these guys even have a buzz anymore. It's becoming more and more noticeable that to market yourself you can't use these strategies anymore because they aren't "shocking".

6ix9ine is a perfect example of this, he tricked people into listening to his music by doing stupid s*** for controversy. Now that his album flopped he even resorted to dissing people who he worked with, which is just pathetic.

Anyways, it's over. These washed-up gimmick artists just aren't it anymore. Pack it up "

You right, tbh... I'm honestly just drunk rn. This is something I've thought about you for awhile, but I've never really taken this forum s*** seriously enough to say anything about it.

It also was not my intention to derail the thread.. I think that the sudden logic hate after the relatively recent praise is mad corny. A couple of months ago, it made sense.. but after NP it seemed like he was getting praise and then, what seems like overnight, it switched back to hate.
