I haven't delved into the whole horror movie world at all,my knowledge is pretty limited,so this October I decided to watch as many horror movies as I can.

Give me a list of must-see classics of the genre, underrated gems, personal faves etc.

Tryna watch a movie every day,so I'm gonna compile them into a list

No A24 movies released in the last decade. Avoid those recommendations. Terrible way to get into the genre. A must see classic is obviously not something released in 2019 lol. The VVitch is great, but it’s not the best way to get into horror.

If you’re interested in slasher movies, I made a pretty solid chronological list of ones to check out. I’d start with the original Halloween and maybe dabble in some from the 70’s and 80’s before going back to the even older stuff.

I'm just not a very big fan. I find myself not able to take them seriously and I find myself eye rolling more than anything while watching them.
