What do you mean? I’m not hating just to hate. I can’t speak my mind now? I’m not using a hyperbole when I say this is one of the most mind numbing listens I’ve ever had of an album. So if I hate something that much I’m gonna vent that s*** in here especially with an artist I have fond memories of.

1st listen complete the only acceptable songs on this project is the run from chill bae to space high

HIs rapping was god awful on 80% of this project, mid beat selection for majority of the projcet

easily his most disappointing release, i have zero reason to come back to a majority of these songs

this is really random, but when u heard big steppers first listen were you happy w it? or when you heard wlr first time?

not saying this is even close to those two projects, but our expectations are never fully satisfied on most projects if you have a ton of hype or a certain perception of how it should sound.

with uzi if everyone was satisfied first day i think it would point more towards a regression than progress.

I don’t agree at all in this specific instance. I wasn’t hype for this project, I’m just saying Uzi’s music have fond memories for me when I was younger. And I never disliked his projects before so that was the standard. My expectations were posted itt yesterday and they weren’t unrealistic. I said I was anticipating for this to be an uncohesive playlist where half would hit and half wouldn’t really stick. Well, ends up nothing sticks for me so ofc that’s a disappointment

I did like WLR the moment it dropped, and didn’t really like Big Steppers but I still don’t like Big Steppers that much outside of a few beautiful songs. The production didn’t do it for me on the majority of Big Steppers.

Not who you replied to, and can’t speak on the big steppers and WLR s*** but EA1 had none of the songs people expected, all entirely new s***, and people still rocked with it first listen IIRC.

I don’t think EA2 is touching EA1 heights in any regard, but I’m still enjoying it so far outside of a few moments

It’s part of everything relating to art, you have to speak your mind and discussions like this is what fuels releases. If I would have liked it again like his other projects I’d be here just as Much. But now I’m engaging with other people that feel the same or people that feel different. It’s one of the best parts of a new release tbh
