Now I really like this song broski and want it on the EP
Should I reach out to the person and ask if I can still buy it (reach some agreement). ..

Jan 23everyone already talked about the ethics here but the big issue if the song ends up actually doing well you're now in a weird legal situation and have no leverage at all. the producer could ask for a crazy % or issue a takedown, and its possible that the guy who bought the beat could do the same
but i understand loving the song so if youre just a hobbyist and making music for the hell of it then it doesnt really matter. but if you have serious career aspirations with this song then u gotta straighten the business out, not just for the moral implications but for your own sake
