    I'm just forming an opinion now, I didn't know netherlands wasn't happy with the EU until today listening to FT news briefing

    i think its mainly the way italy suddenly wants to use eurobonds after theyve been warned so many times yk

    is there other ways to pay for it?

    the US is using bonds too but the expectation is there just gonna be bought back anyway by the banks from the gov so it doesn't really affect anything

    yes.. Italy just loaning themselves

    but they were insisting on using EU bonds while Netherlands has barely any debt and told Italy to calm down on their spending for a while now

    Does the EU have a centralized banking system or is that just left to the countries?

    I guess if all EU bonds had the same agreement they would buy back the bonds from the individual places (countries) like how the US is doing with it's banks, it wouldn't be bad?

    Does seem like a headache though, Netherlands being better off than other places anyway I can see how it's annoying for you guys

    The eu wouldve worked if we stopped expanding. It can still work if they just stop adding new members and let the economy of the members stabilize
