So the world ends tomorrow…

Our follow up to 2020’s AURORA is now in its final stages. After having created and cut dozens of tracks, the final tracklist is clocking in at one hour, with 14 songs. Influences from Synthpop to Shoegaze to Hip Hop to Disco.

The singles selected were selected more so to show the range of sounds on the album as opposed to the tracks I believe have the most hit potential. Despite this range, the album is a concept album with a consistent sound running throughout the project.

we’ve gone through a trillion album covers, so I’m going to post ones that we have decided not to go with in the mean time

What’s the story behind this

I made this one off my phone as a concept for the cover. Took a picture of a disco ball, used some glitch effects to warp it into a ski mask shape (but wanted the ski mask to look like it was in pain lol). Then used different color effects to make it look like it was drawn

The OG Sound of the album was a dark dance album, so that’s why we were going for this imagery. The dark dance idea is still there but it’s changed quite a bit since

Intro song was the one of the earliest tracks made for the album

But last minute changed it up entirely and only kept the lyrics/chords

New version is next level, god tier, confidence-boosting levels of vibe

I have had two grown men cry listening to this album

What app did u use? this dope as hell

It was a handful of apps lol

I used glitche - I think the liquid warp tool - to distort the original picture of a disco ball and make it look more like a face. Then used the fill tool to remove the background

Then I ran that through Remini, which has a painting feature that makes it look like a painting

Then used VSCO to do final touches on it
