United and the Glazers haven't had any serious repercussions for going about things like a circus.
It just angers me when merit is brought up when big clubs are getting away with consistent non achievement as it is.well yeah i’d agree with you on football being a mostly closed shop. not as much as it would be if the ESL were in place, but still unfair nonetheless.
in fact the argument to justify city spending all that money is exactly what you’re saying, i agree with you on that. which is why im still disgusted the owners have gone for it despite pulling out, it flies in the face of why they pumped so much money into the club in the first place.
serious reform is needed because unless these owners are kept in check then they are just going to continue selling fans down the river
