yeah but thats because they are winning

All I’m saying is that small marks can afford to sign big money players and it has happened.

Whereas in soccer there’s no salary cap so smaller franchises are at more of a disadvantage

What line did he cross why aren’t you calling out Roy Keane and Carra then. Neville has the strongest stance because he has always known how to materialize what English football is about

At this point you've got you're not bothered to listen reason. Like I said Neville is putting words into Klopp's mouth saying things like he destroyed the owners for being consistent with his stance. things like that to fan the flame, and he won't be held accountable.

So they need to institute a salary cap

If the teams were publicly owned do we think the respective fan bases in those locations would vote for this?

aren't the historically good teams usually good anyways?

the whole "they bought players but still had to win games" argument kinda falls flat because buying all the good players means you are going to win games

No. Historically good teams evolve over time.

Man Utd got big in the 90s. Before that they were an average club.

Atletico became a big club with Simeone.

Tottenham barely qualify as a big club now yet made the super league.

Then there are the cases of Nottingham Forest & Blackburn Rovers that used to be massive clubs. (fun fact my 1st ever game I attended was Arsenal vs Blackburn in 04)

Sounds like they also need to fix this imbalance then.

So what it sounds like there should be some rules to prevent this from happening.

if one day a bunch of the top teams can wake up and decide to f*** off to their own league, you dont have a well run sport clearly.
