    It used to be like that in American leagues. Teams like the Yankees, Celtics and the Cowboys used to just buy the best players.

    Now it’s possible for any team to compete no matter the market size

    instead of relegation the bottom teams should get the pick of one player from the league to come to their club every year and teams can only protect 2 players from this drafting imo
