Taylor is officially the biggest act in the US/English speaking act & it ain’t even close anymore. The way the sports world/NFL is reacting to her fling w Kelce is beyond what any other artist in the world can cause tbh Beyoncé, Drake etc.. fighting for distant 2nd

tours are expensive it’s easy for someone like drake or kendrick to have a huge expensive tour bc they’re legends still putting out great music and smaller acts can always play at clubs but more middle tier are are stuck in a place where they’re kind of too big to do theaters but an arena tour is too expensive and would price a lot of people out of attending

    "And even Taylor"

She's the biggest artist on the planet lmao

op said "even taylor" like drakes tour is even in the same league as hers/beyonces

It's KTT so people treat artist popularity as a sport and deny basic reality about raw sales because in the same way that raw stats about athletes are ignored for the sake of feeling good about your personal attachment to the individual at hand

She's never not been this big tbh

She just wasn't on streaming so the immensity of how popular she was didn't penetrate into other music cultures. Now that she is on streaming she's just lapping everyone in the game. Like she puts up double the sales of Drake on a bad day lmao

Taylor's raw sales are like late 2000s good lol we got A-list rappers moving 1,000 physical units a week rn

Yeah I didn’t see it until last year or so. But she’s s***ting on all the KTT/Twitter faves tbh. Beyoncé & Drake not even close anymore. The Swifties won

Her music for what it is is good and she lowkey has a few classics so I don't mind tbh. Seeing good artists succeed is cool, people gotta stop going crazy over musical popularity. It's awesome to see good art put up numbers but it really isn't a big deal as long as the music is good

Higgsy maybe you can answer this. Why are so many artists suddenly trying to do arena tours now?

Like, for example, I paid $100 to see Carti at a small venue in 2021 & now he is doing arenas & my same ticket is $400. Do you know why that is? And if Carti is even big enough to do that? Looks like Kim fell victim to this strategy, it’s so odd. I may make a thread if you cant answer but you seem smart

Because that's the only type of tour to bring in any money lol.

OP is the worst trying to facilitate this hype for overpriced s***ty concerts
