A lot of great music this year. Wouldn’t expect someone with a carti avy to get that tho

tyler album is literally the definition of came and went
the AI song had more longevity than the album
you niggas desperately need a break from the internet and learn to actually start liking s*** again
Weeknd album was really for the diehards
99% sad songs and dropped in dead January
Im a die hard but that album had no staying power for me unfortunately
Only Clipse, Tyler, and a lil bit of Metro, the rest is bots talking on twitter rap
???
Spitta 7/30 is amazing, Gibbs s*** might be a classic, and JID exploring some wild sounds, you niggas man
Only Clipse, Tyler, and a lil bit of Metro, the rest is bots talking on twitter rap
You sound like a bot
tyler album is literally the definition of came and went
the AI song had more longevity than the album

You're right. I still haven't heard the Clipse album, the rollout involving a bunch of chatty patty Travis and Ye stuff gave me no reason to actually care about the music if that's the ethos.
& it’s not even just in rap music, genuinely there hasn’t been anything in much in terms of mainstream music that has stuck around..
I mean the billboard top 20 has been a clear reflection of that, I mean it’s mid August and there’s no definitive record of the year, or song of the summer, because it’s just been music that we had heard overplayed / overstayed its time.

nobody was talking about that BULLSHIT but Twitter bots and white people on Twitter LOL
you niggas stuck on dead internet lame af
Dubai chocolate and s***….
In Dubai to buy chocolate n s***
the whole purpose of igor shoulda been to be a bold standalone classic and for tyler to move on
tyler of all people becoming formulaic is sad af ngl
IGOR is his best album
He still puts in a lot of effort to create something different in each album
None of his albums since then sounded the same
He’s also one of the last artists to actually try to make a new album “an event”
Feel free to not like it but the love and passion is still there
Not a Chromakopia fan by any means but it’s different
Then the new album is also a complete sound shift
I don’t hear anyone else making music that sounds like this
niggas will keep saying s*** came and went while there’s deadass been a rap show in their local city every week since April surrounded by nothing but new music where you can go and idk, actually hear the songs/albums that are touching the people and not looking towards Billboard/Spotify/Twitter bots as your mark for what’s going on
just say you washed and only look towards the internet for what’s popping in real life lmaoo

Everything Push said about them is true. Nothing but facts
Best album of the year so far
Best rollout too
So be it so be it

that was 5 minutes of one interview
they have done 15+ interviews and live performances that aren’t centered around Ye and Travis but their dead parents, new love for rap, God and Pharrell. you just let a short clip determine your music tastes LOL
this why niggas say s*** came and went
cause they don’t even give s*** a chance anymore cause of Twitter bots reposting and hyping up engagement on their pages off 2-3 minute clips of an hour long interview
Yeah weve been noticing this since like 2021 with a few exceptions
Thats just what it is now
"Came and went" isn't really a thing now. Albums don't really stick with the general public anymore because there's just so much music to listen to, so easily. So instead each album will stick with the people that really enjoyed the album, and that's fine.
It's very rare that an album sticks with the general population longer than 2 weeks.
