Larry Fink of BlackRock for example - CEO of the largest asset manager in the world and overall one of the most powerful socioeconomic entities in capitalism that influence the investment banks themselves

' No organization is immune from the challenges posed by racial bias. As a firm committed to racial equality, we must also consider where racial disparity exists in our own organizations and not tolerate our shortcomings. We can only heal these wounds – building a more diverse and inclusive firm and contributing to a more just society – if we talk to each other and cultivate honest, open relationships and friendships. Going forward, we will continue to develop resources to help you engage in productive conversation and to take meaningful action, and you’ll be hearing more this coming week. I recognize this process isn’t easy – I know it’s not easy for me. But it’s essential. '

F*** your productive conversation. Literally every CEO is spouting this s***, everyone paying attention worth anything has known the problem for a long time.

I'm joining one of largest professional services firms in the world and the CEO sent the same exact email focusing on 'productive conservation' spouting this bullshit meanwhile in NYC your largest market you had a total of TWO black interns out of the class of 100+ and you hired one of them for full time.

This should be the focus of every CEO

Give them the actual tools to move up and stop pandering useless sympathy
