It’s misleading but it’s not really lying and there’s still some validity to it

The change in pitch was just to put them all in the same key which helps illustrate that the melodies use the same notes within the key

The point still kind of applies even without the pitch changes, it’s not always the same exact 4 notes like shown in the video but it’s always the same 4 note pattern in the key. For example I forget the degrees of the notes he played but if it was 1, 3, 4, and 5 then it would be the same in the heartless key. I wouldn’t call it going out of his way, that would be if he changed note by note but he just transposed it. Can’t expect much from these “viral” lame tweets which always lack nuance but Abel does go to this pattern a lot to the point where it’s really noticeable and I don’t even listen to him like that
