I dont really want an answer for this but i just need to vent about it

My dad been like this my whole life and even my mother to an extent. I cant do anything or be anything in a room with him without him managing to criticise SOMETHING i am doing or have done. Not once.

I cant have a conversation with this man without hearing “theres no money to be made in music use your law degree already” or any tiny nonsensical apparent “wrongdoing” that i have done in his eyes

Im so f***in tired of this s*** man it makes me want to sit in my room and not leave for fear of this bald b****** criticising the way i walk or some s***

Gotta move out in the next year or imma kms

My dad unfortunately is the same way too, except mainly towards my mother and it's been bothering me. He'd not bother showing appreciation towards her bringing in unemployment money to help our family out and always blames her for my brother's problems, she's essentially the scapegoat.

He'd call her things like:

"Stupid"

"Piece of s***"

"Why are you even in this country"

and other hurtful phrases towards her, I tried calling him out but he gets extremely irritated and doesn't listen to me.

OP try to either move out (Ofc when you have the means) or simply start speaking to a professional about the issue, like a therapist.
