Personally I think this is a horrible move since there is a heavy presence of Kanye fans who are on this site and will only migrate to another forum. Just my two cents, I respect whatever happens regardless.

Data should be considered as well. As a forum owner, it’s priority to have trending topics in your forum in-order to get visits.
How many people are more active on KTT before, how many users are visiting the forum since this whole Kanye situation happened.

Moving the site away from “Kanye” specifically is fine. S n em want a broader reach which is fine for their pockets. Kanye changing up and then wanting to disassociate the site from him is fine too. Removal of smileys though, is 100% performative nonsense. G&G section should be deleted if y’all wanna get on this self-righteous tip.

Completely agree. I’m on this forum not only for Kanye but for discussions. And the HOT discussion that just so happens to be going on right now is Kanye.
