AK does not have good hip hop opinions, and Wayno is completely irrelevant, therefore make the show a lot less watchable.
Like don't get me wrong Joe's rap opinions suck ass too. But at least him and AK had a unique back and forth energy that kept it entertaining

I'm really happy about this as a long time akademiks viewer. When Joe left the show it definitely got a lot less interesting like @TIIMMY_BURNER said. As a fan I would much rather see AK doing his Twitch stream, where I know he has creative control and he can make a lot more money.

Nov 30, 2020As much as I dislike Joe, he was ultimately the reason why this show was as successful as it was in 2017. The chemistry between those 3 was lighting in a bottle and instead of realizing it, they shot themselves in the foot by believing anyone could fill Joe's spot and that he wasn't that valuable.
