This is eerie. I was listening to this song in the shower the other day, and had this exact same thought. It's very Prince/D'Angelo-like and perhaps underrated. But yeah, this album is nowhere near as bad as people make it seem.

His most well rounded and sonically interesting album.

Whether you like that or not is up to you but imo he did what he was trying to (still wish the s*** had a cover & some titles tho)
