I’ve seen a lot of people confused about this so I’m going to do a quick summarization of what’s happened so others can be informed on this very gross situation.
On 2/23 Tavi Gevinson published an article on the recent conversation about the #FreeBritney movement. In the article, she talks about her own experience with an older man who was 30 years old when they dated (she was 18 at the time). Tavi says that he would often use her for s***and push her sexual boundaries. She says that this person took advantage of her while she was drunk and often coerced her into having sex.
