there’s just too much money around this one movie he did, they’re in limbo

it’s too much of a financial loss to bury their lead or the entire movie in the dirt before the release

it’s too much controversy to even think about beginning promo (also nigga is a fugitive)

They've made a gargantuan investment in this f***ing Ezra kid between all the DC movies he's done up till now and including the 200 mil they spent on his Flash movie. If they don't spin this controversy just right and keep him out of jail they're not even going to be able to release it and all that money will be wasted. Pretty straightforward case of protecting your investment. Hollywood been doing this kind of damage control for 100 years. His personal wealth is miniscule compared to all of that.

i only added the fact that he’s white. but i literally talked about how he’s an investment. when i talk about his wealth, i am also including the value he has as a movie star for a blockbuster.
