The entire album is badly mixed. Scorpion wasn’t too far off. I think 40 is sicker than we know honestly. Between Noel, the black bald guy who is engineering in the fair trade vid, etc, it seems 40 isn’t actually too hands on with any of the process anymore and instead is passing things off to his pupils. Who are ass. Drake’s s*** has been very hit or miss mix/master quality wise since around More Life I’d say.

This is facts, More Life is the last project of his that had that immaculate mixing/mastering in the production

Views, as a flawed as it is, sounds incredible to my ears

I remember when I first heard Nice For What I was surprised by how rough the mix sounded for a Drake song

Plenty of Drake songs after NWTS have s***ty mixing. idk what’s going on with Drake’s engineers

Drake’s mixing has been trash in recent years. I guess 40 doesn’t mind it or he think it’s fine.

I do remember him saying they make music for iPhone listeners through in ears
