I don’t think they should be the arbiters of taste, but I do think it’s better than just rote sales/streaming numbers becoming the defining signifier for their artistic merit

i only watched clips on twitter and then i saw him perform live in chicago. it was a cool show despite me getting there hella late lol

i dont know him so i honestly dont know if every move of his performance is intentional or not. he has been apologizing a lot recently for his performances so maybe he does have an intended performance he would like to execute but keeps running into hurdles. idk.

sometimes i think he has a grander vision for things and will eventually get there. i think back to that leaked IG chat which illustrates that he is an intentional with his work.
