Butcher's Crossing one of the best things I've read in ages. Really liked The Sisters Brothers as well.

Remember you saying you'd read some Irvine Welsh? Marabou Stork Nightmares is his best I think.

Not sure what else to recommend, I love almost everything Vonnegut and McCarthy have done. Started reading some Patricia Highsmith this year and she's a lot of fun.
