In a decision issued last week, Judge Manuel L. Real of Federal District Court of Los Angeles returned ownership of the master recordings of four albums Mr. Clinton made in the 1970's with his band Funkadelic: "One Nation Under a Groove," "Hardcore Jollies," "Uncle Jam Wants You" and "The Electric Spanking of War Babies."
In winning possession of the recordings, Mr. Clinton can now control licensing and distribution of the music and lay claim to millions of dollars in past licensing fees.
i guess he just chose to leave it off streaming

Tmw u realize gabbagool a real
Thing
you though it was imaginary?
I’m not gonna lie dawg, I never had the gabagul. Didn’t even know it was real. I know that I’m a disgrace
yeah it's spelled capocollo but they say gabagool for some reason
And they don't ever pronounce the ending vowel when talking about food either fettuccin, spaghett, etc

Youve definitely tried it on a charcuterie platter or pizza and just didn't know what the salty thin sliced meat was
And they don't ever pronounce the ending vowel when talking about food either fettuccin, spaghett, etc

not sure yet (ok Aviary took me almost a year). There are definitely great moments but the 80s references are really bringing some tracks down. Tell Me You Love me is actually beautiful but I think that the climax ruins it. Then you have few stomping techno or jungle beats coincuding with Sufjan's flashy approach to electronics he already showcased on Age of Adz. tbf, neither better or worse ino. Some tracks take an easy route in progression imo when they divulge into uninspired climaxes and the melodies are sometimes a but derivative. Aviary is completely a beast of it's own. There were many David Sylvian references floatibg around in a couple reviews but imo nothibg really sounds like it. There are monents of Popol Vuh, Spiritual Jazz, Minimal, Drone, Eno and Björk but rather distant imo.
Then again, I like The Ascension albeit I don't think it touches Illinois or Aviary atm.
