@Elric pre 66 rock album recs
(specifically a bunch of 65 recs but anything pre 50s appreciated)
ok but whats it for
I never finished it cause i wanted a better laptop tbh. I finally got one recently but need the motivation to start a hard game again
i feel like hollow knight reminds me of a lot of 00s flash platformers tbh
To listen to music that I'm not familiar with???
alright then
50's goats that were stll holding it down in the 60's;
Ricky Nelson - Ricky Is 21
Every Brothers - A Date
Roy Orbison - Crying
Bo Diddley - Have Guitar Will Travel
british invasion;
Stones - Now! and Out Of Our Heads are classic but Decembers Children will probably be the most interesting to you
Yardbirds have one of the most savage live albums oat with young Clapton on Five Live Yardsbirds and also took rock guitar into the stratosphere with Jeff Beck on Having A Rave Up and Roger The Engineer
The Who have a classic debut but an even better run of singles that was compiled pretty well on Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy. Gnarliest rhythm section oat, would easily smoke anybody else off stage.
Kinda Kinks and esp Kink Kontroversy are packed with classic jams
Van Morrison an underrated yung master on the two albums by Them. Celtic soul burgeoning.
The Zombies - Begin Here has some real nize jazzy elements
The Small Faces self titled debut nearly matches the Whos r&b might
american bands;
for a while there Phil Spektor was the de-facto king of rock and his comp Back To Mono illustrates this pretty well
then the Byrds happened and the first two albums are immortal and basically started everything on this side of the pond for that era
Love ran LA when the Byrds were out of town and have a classic debut
Buffalo Springfield also hot on their heels and the debut catches Neil's talent flowering
The Beau Brummels the most underrated american band of the mid 60s, amazing first two albums
Gram Parsons International Submarine Band quietly invented alt-country and have a banger with Safe At Home

Yeah and those two branches on the map are actually two vertical towers you're climbing (not top down like Gunegon). And the minimap layout really doesnt do it justice, cause it makes it looks like two when there's actually 3 towers. (When you're playing, it honestly seems like more than 3 at first haha)
