sounds great
so heavy
I’m spinning Times of Grace now
i need Eye of Every Storm.
I love that album cover too, im kinda tired of the Divine Comedy style they use on every release now. The OG covers were great.

She super real
Velvet Rope is a masterpiece but I’m more impressed by how Rhythm Nation was done at the beginning of the peak of New Jack Swing but still sounds fresh and experimental compared to other NJS albums around the same time.

Jam and Lewis were the bassist and keyboardist for The Time. They were basically Prince employees for years.

I forgot to sent Galaxy my f***ing write-up on Stankonia
Picture this, George Clinton‘s remains are being re-animated with the same passion behind The Chronic, only the culture down south has had enough time to be firmly root an identity which can exist either dependent or independent of funk music.
Why hasn’t this album been topped yet? Could it be the lyrics, the production, the features, the synergy of all elements listed prior? Is it the fact that after everything is done right for over an hour you’re treated to the towering opus that is Stanklove, the greatest song parliament never recorded?
Stankonia functions as a place, a state of mind, and a towering achievement of humanity. Break!
