Holy s*** me too. Always wanted to figure out what that song in the store was at the beginning of the movie. Maybe it’s cause it’s a horror film but it gave me such an eerie vibe. And obviously the song in the boat at the end is perfect.
I wish the entire franchise was filmed in Jersey. The first two have an atmosphere that’s comfy and unsettling at the same time and I love it.

Totally agree

Nothing like a good country ballad with warm baritone vocals..
"I can still hear the soft southern winds in the live oak trees and those Williams boys still mean a lot to me, Hank and Tennessee.. I guess were all gonna be what were gonna be.."

i didnt f*** with blood money as much tbh, i did like it tho. Orphans is so good though, the bawlers disc is amazing. and i think i said this before but im 100% sure that youre gonna find some bizarre gem to stan on the "bastards" disc. lot of digestion required though ofc its so long
i think a good amount of the Orphans songs were recorded before 2002 so yeah might not really break the chrono digestion
the album Alice tho was some of my least favorite stuff from him, cant really f*** with with the very cabaret/vocal jazzy style very much
i ever link this one? its from the Franks Wild Years play but he didnt put it on the album for whatever reason

Pierrot Le Fou felt like it wanted me to hate it. Some great scenes, but too inconsistent for me. Solid Godard film but no Le Mepris or Vivre Sa Vie. I think I might've liked Breathless more too, but that's cuz Jean Seberg >
The scene with the Lebanese woman and especially this one were hilarious though

Yea I’m excited to get more into his filmography. Is it better to do most of his 60s stuff before anything else?

dunno. only watched about 14 of his films which is extremely little considering how many he made. I'd say that most of my favorites come out of the 60s. Then again, Rasie will tell you the opposite and he has seen waaaaay more Godard films.

Yea i know him and shrek are big on him and his 80s stuff. Band of Outsiders and Weekend will probably my next ones
Yeah I like it. Love the icy production and I feel like she melds the pop and techno elements even better on this one

I presume you listened to the new actress too (i mean karma and desire). what did u think? I thought it had it moments but he hasn't hung together a full project since 2014 imo
