the Demo tape with Deja Vu on it
full album with premo beats would’ve been nice especially in the late 90s

Isolated incident but I live in an extremely class stratified part of Manhattan - the street to the left of me is very poor/not so safe and the street to the right of me is gentrified with nice apartment buildings and restaurants.

Stevie has been sinking in harder recently. only soul ive heard basically is Stevie, Marvin-Whats Going On, Curtis Mayfield, Gil Scott, Isaac Hayes, James Brown, Sly, Shuggie Otis, isley Brothers, and the main motown hits, that Ike & Tina album you reccd
also rec any good classic soul one hit wonders
part of it is getting more into the vocal style, like for example Aretha style used to be like nails on chalkboard to me (i know, heresy) but Im warming up to it now
Nas had Pac shook
Pac is lucky he didn't run into The Wu like that, forget the group what about the other 80 goons they had
