I didn't want to either honestly, but it seems the format isn't quite as pricey as it was the past couple of years and most labels are starting to adopt the format.

The difference is insane on some releases I've seen like Blade Runner and 2001. S*** we all knew this was coming though, technology always improving. Anyway it's going to be awhile before 4k becomes the new norm and it's not like all blurays look terrible in comparison.

it's annoying though that labels like criterion are releasing good blu rays but arrow might come out with a superior 4k disc of the same film like a month later though gotta do your homework
