yeah he didnt really hit his stride till '55 with Dont You Know and Aint That A Shame but after that his singles were more often than not lowkey classics. the eraly 50s stuff mostly s***tily recorded and average jams at best. luckily Imperial let him hone his craft for a few years before he reached his... imperial phase.
