Well yeah if you attack an NPC they hate you forever so at that point you have to kill them

I always kill most of the NPCs at the home bonfires lmfaooo sometimes it’s hard if you try too early tho. some of them will have good items and s***

Most of them are tied to quests. Some will sell you s***. There are benefits to killing them and leaving them alive.

They also drop stuff when they die so if you don't like em

Edit: I guess you can play mass effect on the Ps5 but there really shouldve been like one or two more launch games
