yeah im gonna go hard with the extreme dust, at least while my interest is so piqued. also feel like with such a traditional genre its a little harder for the even dustier stuff to seem as outdated to a newcomer, it doesnt feel like that extreme of a jump from Hank back to Jimmie. not sure how much I'll really be able to get into it (compared to Hank who I already love) but I'm at least enjoying it all on some level
got Roy Acuff and Bob Wills compilations ready to go too
Nice maybe you should start a trad. country thread to post highlights

theres no way a 1920s-1940s country thread on ktt could attract a decent audience
let alone just a regular ol country thread either. also since im not really gonna go too deep yet, just the basic level of the massive influences in the genre so only a few artists to really post
this makes me wonder how many country singer-pianists there are. cant say ive came across a single one
I think Ronnie Milsap is another one who played piano pretty heavy, but that was more 70s/80s

Yea a golden era country thread might be a stretch but remember the one on KTT, dude was a one man army still posting in that thread like 6 months after everyone left the site

Been revisiting a lot of Miyazaki stuff and Nausicaa went down for me a little. It’s still great just towards the bottom of my ranking now. It’s hard not to see it as like a rough draft for later ideas and for a larger story especially when it’s only a small part of a manga.

I don’t really listen to country pre-late 60s but I’ll vote for a blues song
