super addicting and he roasts the characters most of the time too which is always fun
the fish videos
i expected nice interesting fish swimming not getting gutted
ikr
imagine if we encountered "aliens", and they're actually just a super complex race of machines originally created long long ago that kept improving themselves
if theyre so advanced theyre sentient could we consider them alive?
Bro this is literally the end of A.I. Artificial Intelligence
5th or 6th best when the man has 9 movies
i haven't seen anyone here outright hating it. it's just... alright.
Not worth watching more than twice aside from Sam and Leo
Probably the best movie to watch when re-released in theaters

they were onto something

They refers to Stanley Kubrick who spent over 3 decades co-writing the film waiting for the technology to be advanced enough to shoot it. You should watch it, it’s very sweet and sentimental.

need to start but cant
no time or dont care?
cant motivate myself enough to do it. i usually don't enjoy watching movies during much of the actual movie itself. like if a movie has 30 minute buildup before I actually start to enjoy it. i've found that I have a higher opinion of some of the movies I watched after I actually finished and looked back on them
honestly the length (+pacing) might be the biggest thing. I've been able to watch anime which is short 22 minute chunks. I've considered just breaking up all movies into multiple sittings but apparently thats a big no-no. and then I'll probably miss things/forget things even more than I currently do, I always miss little pieces of dialogue or whatever and get confused at some minor plot point even when it's not a super confusing movie
2001: a space odyssey remains the main reason why I want to try because it's so good
Devoting it to music like a good boy
as i explained to rasie before his transition its hard to fully appreciate the history of one without understanding the other

hmm no way
i have a friend thats allergic to movies. claims its too much time to dedicate to one thing but will then pour hundreds of hours into s***ty reality tv or video games.

tbh im not crazy about watching films alone, especially when i find a really good one and got nobody to react with
maybe try more of a communal approach with whoever you can wrangle
