yeah i don't think its a masterpiece overall or anything, theyre not in the top tier of SF psych bands for me. Cavalry their best track, like a lot of the bands from the scene i think their live stuff is better.
John Cipollina is their MVP member easily

did i ever tell you that I came to regard Jefferson Airplane's Sweeping Up the Spotlight: Fillmore East 1969 are their best release? Kaukonen and especially Casady just go much crazier on it and it's better than their live album that came out back in the day
