should i do Rottenhat or Dondestan next
or jump all the way to Shleep
its hard to recommend against the hard chrono for you since they're all good. but Old Rottenhat was one of my least favorites tbh
Shleep from 1997 was the best after rock bottom
so if youre willing to skip ahead then do that for sure
i assume you haven't done any of his non-album stuff yet, like the EPs/singles/covers? only things i've heard from any of that is his cover of I'm a Believer and the great Costello-written Shipbuilding. both top 40 UK hits which is kinda weird to think about
Didn't know you were a fan let alone that much of a stan
Yeah that album is top 10 all time. First Matching Mole album so fantastic too.
Still hate Jimmy Stewart?
Man flew 20 combat missions and refused to let the studios flout his pretty distinguished record when he got back. Lots of other actors that did less or nothing played up the veteran role. Wayne in comparison is a f***in fraud.

Yeah I never go long without some Gloria Gloom ft Eno

Yeah the existence of that I'm A Believe is pretty mystifying

Walter Matthau was in his troupe
Elliot?
Breakfast Club interviews can be hit or miss but they did one with Face and Willie D recently
too real and funny af

Can you pull up with that Jefferson Airplane live highlight again. Lost the page.

mm think it was this one

Mandalorian season 1
Season 2 is a mess but if you’re really in the mood to be knee deep in Star Wars lore it’s pretty fun. Bill Burr stuff in it is the best part.

The art and sets departments are on point. My favorite part of Star Wars is all the different worlds and aliens and stuff so if the story is messy it doesn't bother me too much.

Ehh Bill felt super out of place for me
And I liked S2 way more

I think that breakdown he had to one of his former empire bosses was a great scene and showcased some real human emotion the series was lacking.

I found most of the characters pretty strong. Pedro Pascal does a really good job emoting as Mando which isn't easy with a helmet on 99% of the time.
And when I realized the little guy was Nick Nolte
