Avys are a weird thing because I just apply a users avy as to what I think they look like even though I know VB isn't an attractive K pop artist
You'd like IU tbh. Very emotional singer songwriter. She was friends with Sulli.

and then her best friend committed suicide a month later
I read a biography on the Romanov family and it confirmed in my mind Russia as the WOAT place to live. It was just nonstop murder and torture for like three centuries
Reading about Ivan The Terrible, Stalin or Putin always gives me the impression that Russian rulers are basically Sith Lords
I remember us bonding over Nick Cave, Tom Waits, etc but it was in some random poster's "Fav Album List" like we starting talking about our favorite joints instead of this dude's
I also remember being really baffled when you said My War wasn't an influential album or something like that.. S*** took me like 2 years to get over
I remember that…he called My War a s*** album in the punk thread and everybody jumped on him
and then her best friend committed suicide a month later
Man needless to say they need to rethink that system
Berry Gordy didn't have a third of his roster out here committing suicide. Age of social media I guess.

s*** was offensive yo, the arrogance..
But to be fair he came around and apologized after further evaluation of the contemporary punk classic My War

A lot of it had to do with her getting bullied online. Internet trolls feel comfortable making hateful comments because they can hide behind the veil of anonymity and not face consequences. Then you add to that a predisposition towards depression and the pressures of that industry. At the end of the day they need to rethink that system and people need to be kinder.

KPop comments are some of the most vicious things I've ever read.
East Asian society in general is extremely vicious. I remember one story about a Japanese singer that was caught dating a guy so she was forced to shave her head and filmed an apology and she was just bawling her eyes out. All that.. for having a boyfriend. The most backwards s*** ever.

At one point people in line to the throne would be terrified because it was almost a guarantee you would be executed or assasinated if you became a Tsar in Russia.

jfc...yeah they put it in their contracts that they're not allowed to date because it's seen as a distraction
I remember that…he called My War a s*** album in the punk thread and everybody jumped on him
he's one of them

Same with being a Sith
only in power for as long as your grip can keep firm hold of it
I'm sure there other historical precidents but Eisensteins Ivan really hits you with that same operatic architectural grandeur Lucas pulled off in the first trilogy

People are never going to be kinder so they probably need to banish their stars from perusing social media tbh
