We went to this really hipster-infested all day brunch place where regular kinds of food have a bunch of extra stuff done to it, and 90% of the menu items include the word "aioli".

Food was actually really good. But i got an appetizer that came with pickles, and i was worried that the hipsters would do what they do and use nasty ass bread & butter (or sweet) pickles. So I asked what kind of pickles come on it, the guy looked at me like i just asked if i could f*** his mom. He was like "uhhh, ummm, just uhh normal pickles i guess".

Tried explaining to them why i asked, and what B&B pickles are, and he must've thought i just stepped out of a stargate or something

I've never been to Mississippi but if were talking about that era with delta blues musicians I couldn't imagine how hard it was being poor and black during those times. Like that is the blues, that pain was real. It could have only came out the south.

Now if were talking about living there today, you could be very comfortable with a decent income. You have to be able to enjoy that slow paced country lifestyle. It clearly has downsides too haha
