Galaxy de list monAnyone else feel like some of the drums on Donda sound really lifeless? I like Hurricane but the drums feel so dead, outro to Jail also got kinda weak drums. Doesn't ruin the album at all cause the rhythm dominated by bass but still

Wayyyy better than the first chunk of songs (minus "Jail")
"Jesus Lord" just came on and yessssss this was the song from the 2nd listening party that i f***ing LOVED but never looked up the name. I might be hitting replay on this song for a min before i move on
Jesus Love, Jail, Keep My Spirit Alive, Moon, and Remote Control are def my top faves so far. Those make a lot of the first dozen tracks sound really subpar by comparison tbh
First half a grower imo. But "off the Grid" and "Praise God" were instant likes for me.

Tbh when I started looking at the Hurricane drums as texture more than rhythmic intonations the song imoroved tremendously for me. Don't think harder drums would do it good tbh.

Remote Control already a bit underrated. One of my fave and perhaps among the most fully fleshed out songs imo.

"Priors, prior, do you have any product"
And it says the same on Apple Music's lyrics too... But I dont hear that. I hear "Do you have any priors".
Or am i going deaf?
