I give half mark to pt 2 because it has a good amount of genuinely amazing pop songs (Amnesia, Drink You Away, Only When I Walk Away, Not a Bad Thing, etc.)

I wouldn't say theres any amazing songs on Ye or JIK besides Ghost Town

Biggest mouth breathers of the decade: fantano d***riders who called Yeezus a Death Grips ripoff even though they sound nothing alike

1.5 out of 3 is still yikes if that's your criteria for pop artist this decade. To each their own though

I am going by quality over consistency in this case. MOTW is bad, but I don't think its that much worse than most pop music this decade.

Who are your favorite pop artists this decade? Cuz Charli might have a case since she released a lot of music. But I feel Carly only really had one great pop album and then 1 other solid one. And Sky Ferreira made one pop album lol. Again, I would take 2/20 pt 1 over anything these 3 made.

I already stated Charli and Carly are my personal fav... if I had to pick more... idk. I was talking more on a somewhat mainstream level anyways so I wasnt including Grimes and St Vincent who are better than both I mentioned

yeah feel like Grimes has yet to even make a good album tbh. Art Angels is the closest she got and that is just decent overall. Her new stuff sounds promising though

And St. Vincent is just the definition of liking it after one listen and then getting bored of it for me. Except Masseduction, that was abysmal
