Yeah we were a super nintend family.
Genesis games never felt comfortable to play to me, which im sure would be different if i grew up with them. But even now i'll play some of the games on Sega Classics Collections and they just feel so stiff to me

Yeah Nintendo and Playstation always felt like home while SEGA was like going to your friend's house that smelled weird

you probably know this famous hit, exquisite theme

recording career spanning roughly from 1926 to 1973 is just insane and more than almost anyone can claim. almost 50 years across 6 decades
@rise_zero Also meant to ask you if you've ever played any of the Star Ocean games.
Star Ocean: Til the End of Time was another PS2 blockbuster rental i got back in the day and never even got around to playing it before i had to return it. But it always looked cool to me
So I downloaded Star Ocean: The Last Hope remaster on PS4 a while back and finally fired it up a couple weeks ago... And DEAR GOD bro this game f***ing HURTS to look at.
I went and watched some short Youtube reviews of it from JRPG focused channels, and both the diehard series fans and people who thought this one was weak mentioned how gorgeous it is, how it's one of the best looking in the series, and that it's graphics "still hold up today with the remaster".
They can't be playing the same game as me. Please go look up a couple gameplay clips of this s*** and tell me there's a single frame where your eyes can easily focus on one thing.
The opening section where you're on the spaceship is literally like watching a video of blue and purple LEGOs melting with the saturation cranked all the way up. All the character models and structures themselves look fine, but how they decided to color them is baffling to me.
Like wtf am i looking at here? Why is everything so bright and made to look like overpolished plastic?

They couldn't even tone it down in the menus. If anything, they actually take it to the extreme

The art director saw this album cover and was like "MY MUSE!!!"

Nah I havent. Those games were big when I was just a kid and had no money so I had to be picky about whatever I got, and usually just stuck with the tried and true stuff. I did play Legend of Dragoon, that was pretty sick.

Lol it has that Phantasy Star aesthetic I could never really get into
This new Low album is crazy
Feels like a souped-up, more violent version of Double Negative, and I loved that album
They really used f***ing White Rabbit in the new Matrix trailer
That's a little too on the nose

I only listened once this morning but the thing that stuck out to me most were the vocals. The whole thing is kinda built around their voices and they sound amazing
