I'm not opposed to this opinion because I really don't get the hype around it. What about it is much different than Pablo Honey? People will s*** on the debut and glorify The Bends but they're pretty equal in quality.

And "Creep" is better than anything on The Bends regardless of whether the band hates it or it's been played on the radio too much. Don't care. It's a very good song from them in that era.

Theyre in U2 and Rolling Stone territory now where younger people grew into them as these mainstream monoliths which seems to turn smart/edgy music listeners off regrettably

The holy grail is Amnesiac. Radiohead found the perfect backdrop for Thom's miserable crooning and it sounded great.
