Played the new jpegmafia for my 18 month old niece and she didn't like it the little idiot
Maybe she’d like lil ugly mane more?
Watching the Masters of Horror series finally. S*** is so good.
Both seasons can be bought (to own, not rent) on iTunes in HD right now for $7 each, which is a f***ing steal considering they price individual episodes at $3...

new My Morning Jacket out today
Donda was cool. I’m more so just happy the Yandhi songs got released.

You did it last night?
battle of evermore feels long as hell and four sticks is a super throwaway track. prob the worst numbered zep album.
meanwhile 3’s been hitting lately
Battle Of Evermore needed to be long enough for me to finish a whole LOTR chapter smh
i’d think sandy denny would make that song way more better, but not really
Sandy would make any song better
my recent revisit been solidifying my growing opinion that Deep Purple > Zep
In Rock and Machine Head > any Zep
influence wise too I hear more of them in later hard rock (+heavy metal) bands honestly. not a slight on Zep or anything because they did have a bit of a unique element with the folk and some other extra stuff
maybe once @Elric continues more with his Judas Priest digestion he will be able to go back and appreciate Purple as their direct fathers. moreso than Sabbath tbh
because Priest started a bit of a different strain of metal
I never heard a peep of Sabbath in Priest really
they clearly started out ripping Zeppelin
Still allergic to Deep Purple
man this new Lana Del Rey got some gorgeous tracks as usual
Hopefully the next step is a live band to bring her sound full bloom. Ditch the verse/chorus format and keep it loose and jazzy.
That last half of Black Bathing Suit with the drums floating around and Lana moaning, smooth transition into Lie Down With Me
Just listened a couple hours ago
What's you think of the features

I was expecting this to have the sonic exploration MBDTF and Yeezus had but I’m glad it didn’t so the plebs could catch up

:rdjeyeroll: started ripping Purple to me for sure instead of Zeppelin
Sad Wings sounds a hell of a lot more like In Rock than LZ 1/2 imho. also worth mentioning that In Rock even predates Paranoid, it really did start a huge idea of the more energetic heavy metal that flowed through Priest and Maiden even though its not 100% pure metal itself. plus ofc the fact that most of the main hard rock bands of the 70s/80s sound more like Purple
btw I hope you don't have the US edition of In Rock that inexplicably cut the Speed King noisy intro and just jumps right into the song taking half the power out of it
Blackmore > Page
