Derrick Henry a beast and with Tannehill, I smile like a proud dad watching his only son that made it.
the way they slowly break her down in the second half is definitely the most uncomfortable s*** in a movie. and then when they finally do "the thing" to her at the end...almost threw up
that whole movie is something else
there really was this type of torture in China called Lingchi (death of a thousand cuts) that the final scene was based on
so how bad was dune. might not even watch it, looks forgettable
lol it wasnt bad i just love lynchs version too much
denis aesthetic harkens back to the gargantuan german sets back in the silent days and the sound design was pretty terrifying but still i couldnt help but compare them the whole time. chalamet is no kyle maclachlan. isaac is a better leto. jessicas about the same. didnt hate mamoa for once. brolin didnt get to shine really. bardem still amazing.
there were a few scenes and elements lynch didnt touch on which genuinely impressed me but i was kinda unconvinced by the end.
feel like lynch somehow gave a much deeper glimpse into that world and the characters and still somehow managed to wrap it up in one film which i dont understand still

watching the trailer and a couple of the ads I was afraid denis was going to be focusing on the atmosphere of it too much, which I get that's what he excels at but had to have been with a lack of charm?

really shows you how dysfunctional the Dolphins franchise is
One thing I remember bout that flick besides Monica's beautiful ass and the smashed face was the this weird humming sound when the camera would spin around. Disorienting
"During sixty minutes of its running time, the film uses extremely low-frequency sound to create a state of nausea and anxiety in the audience"
gf was sleeping so I had to watch it very quietly and luckily didn't have to experience much of this

especially during those years, dude used to get clobbered
Cincinnati putting in work tho

You waiting for Donda physical release?
speaking of scaruffi-core, been re-listening to Foetus - Nail and it hitting substantially less potently than usual
Album more about the complex structures, textures and dynamics than the initial shock factor imo. Fell off for me a while ago but it's climbing it's way back up because there is a lot to the compositions
Idgaf scaruffi's recent 8 picks are fire. His 7s are more questionable imo. Many rather conservative picks there
want to get into old timey music put have no idea where to start. I like the Ink Spots

@RVI mainlines dust
He’s currently on Duke Ellington
SiriusXm helps me with this because they literally have a station which is nothing but music from the ‘30s and ‘40s
You kind of just always need to be researching because it was so long ago

It’s bullshit lol

I want to put the album in my top 5 every time "Throne of Agony" plays but imo it immediately loses steam and "Di19026" and "Anything We Want" are what keeps it from falling completely. In reality there are only 6 full proper tracks and 3 are decent to good and the other 3 are Godly. It will still make my list but a huge freefall is incoming to when I had it at 8

How old timey? A few bangers;
Porter has bars on this

Rewatching Mad Men lately, on Season 5 rn
Gawd Joan’s mother is such a BIATCH
I like how S5 is just Don poorly trying to be a decent husband
I dont remember anyone named Dori from here
But i just liked and followed him solely because i share his hatred of the creature they call "timothee chalamet". Except i am not warming up to him, and never will
