They're wasn't a single day I had growing up that I remember having a snow day. I def recall trudging through -35 blowing wind blizzards to get to school. Good times

I cant recall any "official" snow days in NYC either except for some crazy blizzard when I was a kid

But because of the heavy reliance on public transportation it was generally accepted that most of the school wouldn't show up if there was even moderate snow though
