rvibut do you think the best way to describe his music is "singer/songwriter" genre?
but yeah like i was saying its not a very good term anyway. someone being a singer-songwriter themself doesnt mean their music falls under the same category as the more traditional singer-songwriter style. its kinda like the word has 2 separate meanings if you are using it to describe a musician or if you are using it to describe their musical sound
yea it's not the best term to describe a certain sound, but I still think it should at least be one of the tags if it's under one name just so it would show up if you're searching through the charts

Todd is more like a mix of Brian Wilson and Frank Zappa. Tough to call them singer-songwriters imo.
yeah feel like part of it is also focus on lyrics. with those guys you never get the feeling that the music is just the bed for the words (not that thats a bad thing)
