FellaReally happy to hear you liked it. It’s very fascinating beyond just its ironic humor.
yeah at first I was kinda unsure because I didn't like 00s classic comedies like Superbad but this was entirely different. In fact, for some reason the characters felt much more relatable than I would have ever predicted. Also, most of the jokes were filled with a sense of disgust aka what this sort of humor might feel like if applied to reality but also being extremely unpredictable. Sure, the ending was a bit unrealistic but it fit the movie.

My favorite part of the ending is when you see the kid literally being murdered but you still hear “I’m OK”

Wow surprised you didn’t dig Superbad. Maybe just an American thing for how relatable it is. Totally mirrors a lot of guys high school experience. But I totally agree with your takeaway with Freddy Got Fingered.

there’s just so much to love
might not have the highest highs of their career but both albums are just fun as hell and listening to them back to back somehow turned out so well...the contrast in sounds just works
