Never watched a reaction video that wasn't big Quint or whatever
I guess this is the natural progression from twitch. Still can't believe that hobbies have gone from doing a thing to watching somebody do a thing.
Where were all these happy spectators when I was fighting for the controller and a turn when I was a kid

easy money/views. especially reacting to classic rock, the boomers line up in droves for that s***
"OMG Vader is Luke's dad!?!? "
40 YEAR OLD WHO'S NEVER SEEN STAR WARS
This would mean they haven't seen The Simpsons either

When you're talking to someone that hasn't seen any of the movies or any music you're trying to banter about

!https://youtu.be/pRWmGD4vIOEI'm glad my parents were movie fans
Yo, everyone and their mama doing reaction channels now
It’s a bad rabbit hole to fall down lol
The Joss Whedon controversy is so funny. He sucks obviously and I’m a Snyder guy so it’s nice to see the tables turned I guess. He’s a hacky writer and director but people are talking about him as if he has these like MeToo accusations against him but the extent of it really is just him being kind of an a****** on set. He’s harmless compared to like a Kubrick or a Friedkin who traumatized their actors. His cancel worthy moments are just “he’s mean” lmao

Dang the era of directors torturing epic performances out of actors is over

I mean it’s a good thing that’s stopped but on some level yeah we used to get that the artistic process could get messy.
I remember when it was just Black people reacting to rap music. now we got folks Recording them watching entire shows
!https://youtu.be/cUXqGTEP180this is so weird are you just supposed to be entertained by their facial expressions the whole time?

There’s an appeal to some of this stuff. Watching someone resonate with something you love and experience their first time with it can be a great feeling. Like showing a friend a song or movie that’s special to you and they light up with excitement or emotion at the parts that hit you too. Problem is most of these videos are fake and bad. People overreacting for views.

yeah i get some of it, just not watching literally an entire series. watching someone listen to a song and then talk about it for a few minutes makes more sense than just sitting there watching them watch an entire 30minute episode
the overreacting is so terrible like that one dude rasie and i found once, cant remember which songs he was doing

I saw one where it was so clear they edited the video to insert a clip of them crying at a specific moment. That s*** is so transparent compared to the authentic stuff. Everybody usually cries at the same part in Schindler’s List for example but it’s easy to tell when it’s real or fake.

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpHBMfy9T_0There’s something weirdly racist about the whole thing I can’t quite put my finger on. Like boomers wanting to see black people comically overreacting to their favorite white music. Idk maybe I’m reading too much into it.
@Elric Criterion announced The Girl Can’t Help It for April it’s looking like they were able to snatch up a bunch of Fox movies before Disney took them hostage
Yeah those performances are gonna be after a good restoration
