I thought he meant these were normiecore
Nah they all have 8+/10 Scaruffi ratings for their 70s output
We should ban scaruffi core from lists going forward. Rock Bottom my favorite album of all time but I’ll gladly sacrifice it so we can get over pretending the Beatles and the Cure aren't deserving of top 10 material for their respective decades. Happily becoming a normie.
This is so dumb
Just realized last night that i actually have no clue what "G&G" stands for on this site. Been on KTT for a full decade and can't recall ever knowing

But isnt that section like 100% dudes jerking it to women? I've only been in there a couple times and i dont recall seeing any naked guys but im probably wrong haha

I watched French Dispatch yesterday. Pretty great. I feel like the sections got weaker with each entry, but it was definitely a really unique and interesting concept for Wes and film in general
Television, Can, Roxy, and Neu being normie-core is also a stretch
Nah Roxy at least were one of the bigger bands of the era

I guess they were the first glam rock band, huh?
Bigger as in they were big and had hits and were not obscure
wonder if they were bigger in Canada than the US, i see in the UK they were considerably bigger which makes sense

No idea but it was probably easier for British bands to tour within the Commonwealth so they probably put in alot of work out here

I think they were a decent sized touring band in the US but obviously not on the size of dadrock types
7 years later and Elric still right
7 years later and I have no hate for the Beatles but I'm mostly indifferent. I don't really feel anything listening to them.

Apparently they were big enough in the US to tour there in 72 during their debut album, then again in 75, 76, and 79
Im surprised to find that out myself tbh
