IV, Get Out and Parasite are good options for overrated

honestly think its way easier to think about overrated films in regards to 2010s because the evolution of social media has just made it way easier to yell hyperbole over each other so I can think of so many more movies that are overrated in the 10s than any other decade.

How many of you guys wait til a second watch of a film to give it a rating?? I know a second watch of a movie will always be different than a first watch, but for me it's easier to give it a rating than perhaps an album on one listen... maybe a weird comparison idk

Def easier to give a film a rating on first watch than an album cuz you’re basically thinking about it for 2 hrs whereas you’re thinking song by song of an album and it moves a lot quicker.

I just rate the movie based on that watch. I find most of the time my ratings don’t dramatically shift. Like I liked Joker a little more my 2nd watch or I disliked The Last Jedi more my 2nd watch. But I think it natural to assume your opinion of something changes the more you experience something

None of those new star wars movies have been any good looking back on it honestly. Thanks disney!

I always rate after the first watch. I only watch a small percentage of movies multiple times.

Yeah I always rate on the first watch. If I watch it again and my opinion changes I'll just re-rate it.

Also, Clockwork Orange for the 70s. That movie is so f***in dumb.

Depends on how good it is. I rewatch the parasite and uncut Gems a week after I saw them. Watched Mulholland Drive twice consecutively the first time I saw it.

But the first season was pretty good to me; only episode I didn’t like was the fifth one. I recommend finishing it.
