@Elric @RASIE getting my sister into Eno after I found out she listened to Before and After Science because she liked the album cover. Listened to HCTWJ (her first listen) in the car, and she had some thoughts:
Mostly loved it overall
on "Needle in the Camel's Eye" and "Cindy Tells Me" 'bubbly'
"Baby on Fire" 'can see why it's considered a highlight' and 'I love it already' after the first line
wasn't a fan of "Driving Me Backwards" excepr the weird sound effect instrumental break in the middle.
"Blank Frank" was 'okay' but also said it may have been jarring after how much she liked "On Some Faraway Beach" and needs more listens.
I told her how much Elric champions "Dead Finks Don't Talk", she said 'I can see the genius in it' and referring to the 'oh no's', 'he sounds like a goose'
I think she implied that 'Some of Them Are Old' would have been a perfect closer and loved that song but still liked the title closing track anyway.

I remember when i already had HCTWJ for a bit but wasn't giving it serious and repetitive enough listens to sink in when spicy @RASIE came in talking all sorts of snack about a bunch of goats and made a list with HCTWJ way up there so I was like I should see if this edgelord knows what he's talking about.

Also remember talking about Dead Finks a little while later telling Rasie it was interesting but I'm not sure about that "oh no" part and he was trying to convince me it was effective counterpoint to that other melody line or something and he wasn't wrong in the end

She’s still beautiful and she was stunning in the new Top Gun but this is a psychotic take. She lost the thiccness. I always thought she’d only get curvier with age like Susan Sarandon. Rocketeer era Connelly is peak woman.
